Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Consultant Engagement Lead and Account Manager, Talent Solutions and Professional Services at Insight Global Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to join our dynamic construction team in New Rochelle NY for $150k-200k. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and is passionate about delivering safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions across a variety of general construction projects. Must Haves: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress. Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering within a general construction setting. Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro. Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE) and construction practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Key Responsibilities: Lead structural engineering efforts on commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects from concept through completion. Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural integrity, load distribution, and stress points in complex building systems. Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural solutions into overall project plans. Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify construction practices and resolve structural issues in real-time. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on FEA modeling, software usage, and design best practices. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve design efficiency and safety.
