We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in San Antonio, Texas. Candidates will work in child and adolescent psychiatry providing telemedicine services and/or in-person services. Full-time and part-time options available. Benefits kick in at 30+ hours per week. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialty medical care in a clinical setting under the supervision of licensed physicians
• Secure and evaluate medical and behavioral health and developmental history of the patient
• Evaluate patients in a clinic
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
• Perform basic physical assessment using observation, inspection, auscultation, palpation, and percussion
• Distinguishes between normal and abnormal findings obtained by history, physical screening, behavioral assessments, and in collaboration with the designated physician, implements an appropriate management plan
• Execute physician's orders such treatments, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as prescribed in accordance with legal, ethical, and institutional standards
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• APRN Licensure for State of TX, or willingness to go through licensure process
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
