Accountant - Industrial Manufacturing Co. - Perm!

Corporate Accountant - Onsite | West Lafayette, OH (low cost of living area, and beautiful!)

Position reports to the Controller

Base salary: $58K-85K & DOE

We're hiring a Corporate Accountant for a full-time, onsite role in the West Lafayette, OH area. This position offers the opportunity to supervise up to 5 team members and contribute directly to financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages fixed asset inventory for product group
• Reconciles various General Ledger accounts including intercompany
• Produces various reports for upper management
• Prepare and file sales, use, and 1099 tax returns
• Reconcile fixed asset spending and manage inventory
• Perform monthly account and intercompany reconciliations
• Support audits, budgets, and inventory reviews
• Prepare journal entries and serve as backup for other accounting roles

• Foster positive work relationships and ensure compliance with company policies

   

• Supervision - will have up to 5 direct reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • OR Associate's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general accounting systems
• Strong understanding of ERP logic, reporting, and reconciliation processes
