Summary

The Providence VA is hiring a full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist (DR/IR). This position offers flexible scheduling, part-time telework, recruitment incentives, eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program, and no IR call.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending completion of training or licensing may be tentatively selected but cannot be hired until all requirements are met. Current VA physicians who met qualification standards at initial appointment are deemed qualified.

Basic Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens only if recruitment of qualified citizens is not possible)
• Degree of MD or equivalent from an approved school
• Current unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Completed residency in an approved core specialty training program
• Residents in approved programs may be appointed as Physician Resident Providers (PRPs) under supervision
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• For foreign graduates, verification from ECFMG is required
• Board eligibility or certification in radiology
• Must complete onboarding, pass physical and drug screening, and submit acceptable identification

Preferred Experience:

• Board-eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology, current with MOC
• ACGME DR/IR certified or IR fellowship-trained
