Vale Group has opportunities in the aviation industry located in the area of Edgewood, NY, actively seeking experienced Aircraft Structural Mechanics with 2+ years of related experience . This role offers an hourly rates between $21-28/hour , based on experience. Experience withy military aircraft models such as Raytheon, Lockheed and Northrop.

Requirements of the Structural Mechanic:
•3+ years of experience in structural assembly and subassembly work
•Familiarity with machine parts, including composite bearings (fiberglass, Kevlar)
•Proficiency with tools such as right-angle drill motors, riveters, and micrometers
•Ability to work from standard operating manuals
•U.S. Citizenship or residency is required
•A&P certification is not required

Responsibilities of the Structural Mechanic:
•Perform assembly and riveting operations on military and commercial aircraft components
•Conduct fitting and rework operations as needed to meet production standards
•Ensure precision by checking for completeness and accuracy
•Teach and mentor less experienced team members
•Comply with all environmental, safety, and operational directives
