Accounts Payable Clerk - Brick, NJ
Our client, a well-established company in Brick, NJ, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This role is responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Receive, verify, and process invoices in accordance with company standards.
• 
  Prepare and execute payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• 
  Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve payment or invoice issues.
• 
  Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies.
• 
  Assist with expense reporting, departmental spending, and AP reporting.
• 
  Support month-end close processes.
• 
  Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred).
• 
  Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles.
• 
  Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• 
  Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• 
  Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• 
  Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and meet deadlines.
