A Snapshot of Your Day Local Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines, ensuring the wind farm produces power reliably. The wind farm is located in Roscoe, TX. Duties include routine maintenance, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical/hydraulic systems, repairs and inspections. Service technicians support the overall safety culture by following safety protocols, maintaining records, and ensuring accountability. How You’ll Make An Impact Support the safety culture on site: set standards for safety and ensure others are working safely. Support quality in each turbine: perform high‑quality maintenance, improve cleanliness and operation. Drive continuous improvements: suggest ideas to improve processes and operations. Improve cost impacts: reduce costs through high‑quality maintenance and increased turbine efficiency. What You Bring Minimum two years wind experience with a High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years with an Associate’s or trade school degree/certification preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to climb to heights up to 250 feet or greater and work in confined spaces. Meet body weight restriction of 265 lbs or less per safety regulations. Pass a physical administered by a medical practitioner to ensure ability to safely perform job functions. Driving is an essential function; applicants must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Applicants will not be required to obtain employer‑sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
