Job Summary: The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for performing high-quality welds and fabrications on a variety of metal components, often working from blueprints or verbal instructions. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think and design and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals

• Fabricate and assemble metal components from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions

• Use grinders, saws, shears, and other shop equipment safely and effectively

• Inspect welds for accuracy and structural integrity

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred

• Proficiency in MIG welding (TIG is a plus)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Team player with good communication skills
