Position Overview The Vice President of Finance will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving financial strategy, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. This role requires a proven finance leader with a strong background in manufacturing cost accounting, multi-channel consumer products, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to implement process improvements, provide actionable insights, and partner with senior leadership to support the company's continued growth. Candidate Profile 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Strong background in multi-channel consumer products (eCommerce, Amazon, wholesale). Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. Proven leadership experience managing and developing a lean finance team (3-4 direct reports). Hands-on, detail-oriented style with a continuous improvement and process optimization mindset. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central preferred). CPA designation preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and related reporting packages. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive budgeting and forecasting models. Own and optimize standard costing systems; perform variance and margin analysis. Oversee inventory management and cost-of-goods tracking across multiple brands and business units. Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to support job costing, process efficiency, and financial performance. Conduct pricing and profitability analyses to guide strategic decision-making and capital investment planning. Maintain and strengthen internal controls while ensuring audit and tax compliance. Provide the CEO and executive team with actionable insights, financial guidance, and strategic recommendations. Manage banking relationships, monitor quarterly covenant compliance, and oversee cash flow planning. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and third-party vendors. Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts, supporting scalable growth and ad hoc strategic projects.
