We’re looking for an energetic, self-starting, and innovative individual to fill our open User Experience Design position. This position will assist with the planning and creation of optimized user experiences for web and email applications. This person should possess strong skills in branding and graphic design and have real-world experience with the latest UX trends and best practices. This position will collaborate with a team of strategists and designers to determine user interface needs for each project and deliver high-quality conceptual solutions. This position will also work closely with developers and other key stakeholders, ensuring the concepts are translated into functional web solutions.

Objectives of this Role

• Analyze current and potential websites to provide actionable recommendations based on user experience best practices.
• Collaborate with the strategy team to develop a plan of action for site improvement for partners.
• Create high fidelity web concepts to present testing opportunities or support solutions for partners.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the live experience meets the criteria and functionality as presented in the visual concepts.
• Assist the email marketing team in the creation of email campaign template designs and provide supporting assets as requested.
• Create deliverables that communicate our proposed designs effectively.

Personal Qualities for Success in this Job

• Hands-on experience designing web interfaces, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mock-ups
• Working knowledge about emerging user interface / interaction design standards and best practices
• Proficiency in creating designs for a responsive experience (mobile, tablet, and desktop concepts)
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to create static marketing assets
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop
• Accountability in ensuring brand and design standards are met on every project
• Working knowledge of design best practices including typography, color and layout
• Ability to lead and/or participate in projects from the design phase through final testing and QA.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, as well as visually through concepts and prototypes)
• Creative problem-solving skills * Good sense of humor & ability to stay calm and focused in crunch time
• A self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with development teams is desired.
