\nRN - CICU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Holiday coverage as needed
\n• Float mainly to PCU but may float to all hospital areas depending on abilities
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:2 with occasional 1:1 assignments for high acuity patients
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• Driver's license required at submittal
\n• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
\n• Artificial nails are prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
\n• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit facilities
\n• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs for RNs
\n• 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
\n• Care for patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics with diagnoses including sepsis, STEMI, stroke, neurosurgery, renal failure, respiratory failure, COPD, cancer, and DKA
\n• Titrate various drips including sedation, paralytics, pressors, antihypertensives, heparin, and insulin
\n• Work with specialized equipment including Gaymar Hypothermia, Arrow Balloon Pump, Camino Neuro monitoring, CRRT, Impella, EVDs, and Lumbar drains
\n• Read and interpret telemetry strips
\n• Chart in EPIC system
\n• Participate in bedside shift report and intentional hourly rounding
\n• Provide care to culturally diverse community including Hispanic and Sudanese populations

The facility features advanced technology including an eICU remote monitoring system and specialized equipment for high-acuity cardiac and neurological patients. The unit maintains a fast-paced environment with a focus on evidence-based practices, bedside shift reporting, and intentional hourly rounding to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experiences.
