General Summary:

Qualcomm’s Gaming Technologies Team and Snapdragon Studios are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of our next-generation gaming technologies, enhancing the best-in-class gaming experiences on the Snapdragon platform.

In this role, you will:

  1. Direct a comprehensive next generation gaming technologies product development from conception and definition through end-of-life. Engage in all stages of a product’s lifecycle, including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance.
  2. Serve as a central advanced gaming product lead resource, coordinating with design, process, development, quality, test, marketing, and distribution teams as the product(s) and/or product line(s) progress through their lifecycle.
  3. Formulate and execute long-term gaming technology roadmaps for operational expenditure control related to new gaming experiences.
  4. Promote the adoption of new gaming technologies and industry-leading trends.
  5. Oversee the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of specific new gaming products or product groups including Game AI and generative AI.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Technical Product Management or Development or related work experience in Game Industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the Gaming Industry, Gaming ecosystem for mobile and PC.
  • Deep knowledge of latest Gaming trends and Gaming Technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of Game Engine development & roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of GPU and graphics technologies.
  • 4+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.
  • 2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
  • 2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements, contracts, SOWs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts gaming market analysis to identify gaps and make portfolio decisions impacting gaming technologies product roadmaps.
  2. Validates advanced gaming business cases, aligning them with organizational strategy and contributing to the gaming technologies product roadmap.
  3. Develops and executes product portfolio launch strategies for gaming technologies, identifying technical marketing opportunities and ensuring successful product launches.
  4. Prepares and delivers technical presentations on gaming technologies product roadmaps and proposals, integrating customer feedback.
  5. Leads the creation of differentiated gaming technologies product roadmaps, facilitating cross-functional decision-making and stakeholder buy-in.
  6. Drives cross-functional discussions to develop new and innovative gaming technologies that meet consumer and customer needs.
  7. Oversees the development of new gaming technologies product portfolios, assessing cost, impact, and ROI.
  8. Establishes long-term innovation strategies, product roadmaps, and aligning with our core Tech IP strategies for gaming technologies, ensuring alignment with AAA game studio interests.
  9. Manages communication plans with internal customers, vendors, and senior management to build relationships and achieve gaming technologies product goals.
  10. Ensures cross-functional collaboration to meet customer expectations and align with gaming technologies product roadmaps.
  11. Translates cross Business unit needs and organizational strategy into successful gaming technologies product portfolios, partnering with cross-functional leaders.
  12. Communicates complex information about gaming technologies effectively, requiring strong negotiation and influence skills.
  13. Ensures realistic budgets, schedules, and performance standards for gaming technologies, with significant influence over key organizational decisions.
  14. Completes multi-step tasks related to gaming technologies, requiring various cognitive abilities for both technical and creative tasks to reach innovative solutions.
  15. Addresses abstract problems in gaming technologies requiring complex analysis and directs the resolution of issues impacting multiple areas with gaming ecosystem teams.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$227,700.00 - $341,500.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Qualcomm offers a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants.
