We are seeking a reliable and experienced 1099 driver to join our team. The successful candidate will drive a a sprinter van to transport refrigerated freight locally and regionally. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and the physical capability to assist in loading/unloading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sprinter van to pick up and deliver refrigerated food products.
• Follow designated routes and schedules, including morning and day shifts (Saturday-Sunday),
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers during deliveries, ensuring professional and courteous service.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods at supplier and customer locations, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.
• Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining adherence to traffic and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jack, if needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork/and or app entries and communicate effectively with management.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License )with at least 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
• Candidates must have a flawless driving record with absolutely no violations, infractions — NO EXCEPTIONS will be made.
• Previous experience as a truck driver or delivery driver, preferred
• Ability to operate a palette jack and other warehouse equipment (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical capability to perform duties that include repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, and pulling.
• Proficiency in using a smartphone for navigation and communication purposes.
• Experience delivering food products a plus.

Compensation:

• $23-25/hr. based on experience - 13-16 hours per weekend

Shift Details:

• Morning and day shifts, Saturday and Sunday

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting during the shift.
