About the Role: As a Service Writer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You'll clearly communicate their needs to our technicians, provide accurate estimates, and keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles. Your bilingual skills will help us better serve our diverse community, and your reliability will keep the shop running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: - Customer Communication : Greet customers, understand their automotive needs, and explain recommended services.
- Bilingual Support : Assist both English- and Spanish-speaking customers with professionalism and clarity.
- Work Order Management : Create accurate repair orders and maintain service records.
- Team Coordination : Work closely with technicians to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Problem Solving : Address concerns quickly and help resolve customer issues with confidence and care.
- Dependable Execution : Be punctual, reliable, and organized every day.
What We're Looking For: - Bilingual (English/Spanish) : Required.
- Dependable & Professional : You show up ready to work and represent the Meineke brand with pride.
- Excellent Communication Skills : Comfortable speaking with customers and writing clear, accurate service notes.
- Customer Service Experience : Prior experience in retail, service writing, or a customer-facing role preferred.
- Automotive Knowledge : A plus, but not required-we'll train the right person!
- Strong Work Ethic : Detail-oriented, organized, and driven to provide excellent service.
- Valid Driver's License : Required.
