As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors, tenants, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed01:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to company and client guidelines.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to authorized individuals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
