The Regional Roadshow Sales Specialist is a high-energy, customer-facing role responsible for bringing the Transformer Table experience to life at Costco Roadshows. Within an assigned geographic region, you will serve as the face of the brand—engaging with shoppers, demonstrating our transformative furniture solutions, and driving direct-to-consumer sales. This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys travel, and excels in hands-on selling.

Compensation Structure
This is an hourly position with a salary dependent on experience, plus a lucrative commission structure based on sales performance during each Roadshow event.
Commission Eligibility
Employees are eligible for commission based on sales volume achieved during each Roadshow event. Details of the commission structure, including payout timing and performance thresholds, will be provided during onboarding. This structure is designed to reward top performers and may significantly increase total compensation.
Employment Structure
Although this role will be managed day-to-day by Transformer Table, a third-party provider will serve as the official employer of record (EOR) for payroll and compliance purposes in the United States. All employment terms will adhere to applicable federal and state labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Proactively welcome and assist shoppers on the sales floor, delivering a friendly and informative customer experience.
Product Knowledge & Education: Serve as a product expert by clearly explaining the features, benefits, and use cases of Transformer Table’s modular furniture offerings.
Consultative Sales Approach: Understand each customer’s unique needs, lifestyle, and preferences to recommend tailored product solutions that align with their goals and budget.
Sales Performance: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by effectively communicating product value and confidently closing transactions.
Live Product Demonstrations: Conduct hands-on, interactive demonstrations that showcase product versatility, functionality, and craftsmanship.
Order Support & Checkout: Guide customers through the purchasing process, completing order forms accurately to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout.
Roadshow Setup & Teardown: Coordinate with Costco staff to retrieve event materials, set up the booth according to brand standards, and support teardown and packing at the close of each event.
Team Collaboration: Partner with regional teammates and leadership to align on event strategy, customer engagement techniques, and sales initiatives.
Adaptability: Adjust seamlessly to diverse Costco locations, customer demographics, and varying warehouse setups while maintaining high performance.
Event Area Maintenance: Ensure the sales and demo space remains clean, organized, and visually aligned with Transformer Table’s brand presentation standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success in retail or sales roles; familiarity with the Costco warehouse environment is a strong asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Quick learner with the ability to absorb and communicate product details clearly and confidently to customers.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail setting.
Ability to travel to different Costco locations within a specific geographic location, sometimes overnight.
Role Requirements & Physical Demands
This is an on-site, customer-facing role in a retail environment, requiring the ability to stand and remain active for up to 11 hours per day.
Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds during setup, demonstrations, and teardown.
Requires regional travel to various Costco locations within a designated territory; overnight stays may occasionally be required.
Must be available to work 10 consecutive days per Roadshow event, typically spanning weekends and including long hours. Additional rest days are scheduled between events to comply with labor guidelines.
