Job Description

Lucky Break has an entry-level position available as a Public Relations Coordinator based in Los Angeles. This is an in-person opportunity. We are not accepting work remote candidates. 

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, driven for success, and have a passion for communications as well as a willingness to learn. Strong research and analytical skills are imperative. The candidate will be committed to delivering and overseeing quality work in alignment with campaign strategy to achieve desired results across multiple sectors but mostly focused on D.E.I., social impact/non-profit, and entertainment.

The candidate will work within a small team and collaborate with Lucky Break’s network to develop strategic and creative client work.

What You Will Be Doing: 

· Execute the day-to-day work of supporting multiple client-facing accounts 

· Support senior team in drafting compelling pitches and securing appropriate market stories, trend, and shopping placements 

· Participate and contribute to strategy development with the team based on client needs; Brainstorm innovative press mediums and brand building opportunities to enhance awareness for clients 

· Create, maintain, and cultivate relationships with target editors 

· Manage any necessary sample trafficking and maintain accurate inventory records 

· Provide appropriate credit details for all product placements 

· Monitor editorial press and share clips with team and assigned clients in a timely manner 

· Execute all client reports, agendas, and recaps in accordance with agency format 

· Support in the planning, ideation, and execution of events 

· Provide support for client events, activations, and partnerships (including seasonal product/collection launches, desk sides, and interviews) 

· Manage intern program: hiring, training, and overseeing team of interns each semester 

Qualifications:

· 1+ year  public relations agency experience  with the most recent minimum experience as an Intern or PR Coordinator.

· Lifestyle campaign experience across various industries 

· You are a motivated by success, a creative and a strategic thinker 

· Comfort working and collaborating as a team 

· Track record in effective client service to senior level clients 

· Cision experience preferred 

· Research and media list building experience

· BA or BS in Communications or related degree
