A thriving private orthopedic practice in Lubbock, TX is seeking a skilled and motivated General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our dynamic team. This is a full-scope clinical role with a strong emphasis on total joint procedures, including hip and knee replacements. You'll be joining a collegial, well-established practice dedicated to excellence in musculoskeletal care.

Position Overview:

• Perform total joint surgeries (hip and knee replacements) with a focus on delivering outstanding surgical outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations to evaluate orthopedic conditions, present treatment options, and address concerns.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including planning, patient education, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physical therapists, and fellow surgeons to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery through continuing education and professional development.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including surgical reports and progress notes.

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Eligible for or holding an active Texas medical license
• Experience performing total joint replacements (hip and knee) is highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A collaborative, patient-centered mindset and ability to work effectively in a team-based setting
