【Position】

Office Manager (Exempt)

【Summary】

A Japanese food trading company is recruiting for an Office Manager position in Seattle Office.

【Essential Duties】

● Responsible for the smooth operation of the day-to-day business and administrative functions of the branch, including but not limited to:

● Lead and manage employees in efficient and effective administrative activities

● Monitor work performance, including AR, AP, Credit Memo, etc., to assure optimum efficiency and accuracy, performing such tasks when necessary

● Perform HR related tasks, including hiring, termination, performance management, payroll, leaves, workers comp, union matters etc.

● Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and handle internal and external audit

● Ensure clean, safe work environment, handling janitorial, repair, supply and maintenance related issues as needed

● Coordinate Safety Committee, assuring optimum safety standards are maintained and investigations completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures

● Take immediate action in coordination with senior management to resolve any problems that could impact productivity, safety and harmony of a smooth operation

● Other duties as necessary to support on-going operational needs

【Working Hours, Working style】

8:30~17:00 ( including 30minutes Lunch Break )

【Salary, Benefit】

$54~64K (DOE)

【Qualifications】

● College graduate or equivalent work experience required

● Excellent English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)

● 10+ years, successful administrative experience required, 5 or more of which in a managerial role preferred

● Strong leadership and management skills

● Payroll knowledge and experience preferred

● Demonstrated success managing a diverse work population

● Food distribution experience preferred

● Familiar with Japanese business and Asian food culture preferred

● Fluent in Japanese Language preferred ( Not required )
