The Importance of the Role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will educate healthcare professionals (HCPs) about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, Sarepta's investigational therapeutics, and our product pipeline.

Reporting to the West Region Team Leader, the MSL should have expertise in Neurology/Pediatrics and be a scientific authority on Sarepta's portfolio. The role involves serving as a scientific resource for key customers, including opinion leaders, investigators, and physician networks. The ideal candidate is driven, combines scientific knowledge with customer service, and is compassionate about patient care. They will also contribute to establishing MSL processes, policies, KOL strategies, and tactical planning.

This position requires being located in the Northwest, covering northern California, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare organizations
• Implement KOL strategies, identify KOLs, and support speaker development
• Lead medical education efforts through proactive scientific communication
• Deliver high-quality scientific presentations at various venues
• Support clinical operations and investigator-initiated studies
• Assess site capabilities for clinical research
• Represent medical affairs at scientific meetings
• Develop expertise in Duchenne muscular dystrophy through ongoing education and scientific engagement
• Understand and support medical and commercial strategies

More about You

• MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, or PA preferred
• 5+ years of MSL experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of industry and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Existing Neurology/Pediatric relationships are a plus; experience in immunology or gene therapy is beneficial
• Willingness to travel

• Expertise in clinical trial design, data interpretation, and medical marketing strategies
• High integrity, sense of urgency, and recognition of time sensitivity
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills

This role is hybrid; you will work onsite at a Sarepta facility in the U.S. and attend company-sponsored events as needed.

The salary range is $0 - $0 per year, reflecting our transparency and compensation philosophy, considering education, experience, market conditions, and role criticality.
