Location Onsite, New York, NY or Baltimore, MD Employment Type Full-time, In-office Role LHH Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Marketing & Communications Leader to join a small, high-performing team. This role is focused on owning the firm’s communications strategy and managing external agency partners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding messaging, reviewing and approving content, and driving thought leadership across investor, digital, and media channels. The person in this seat will lead strategy, manage deliverables, and ensure brand alignment across all channels. Key Responsibilities Own and guide the firm’s communications strategy across web, social, and investor-facing platforms Manage relationships with external creative and PR agencies, ensuring quality and consistency Review and approve press releases, white papers, executive messaging, and digital content Lead thought leadership initiatives including long-form content, podcast messaging, and brand storytelling Collaborate with senior leadership and investor relations to support firm-wide communications Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify proactive storytelling opportunities Requirements 5 years of experience in strategic communications or marketing Experience managing external vendors or agency partners Strong writing and editorial skills with a sharp eye for tone and messaging Background in financial services, private equity, fintech, or a fast-paced agency environment is preferred Highly professional, polished, and comfortable working in a lean, collaborative team This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization.
