Job Summary

The Inventory Consultant is responsible for managing inventory transactions within SAP at the Camden factory, supporting all on-site projects through efficient movement of material resources. This role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and improving inventory management processes to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry standards.

K ey Responsibilities

1. Execute inventory management tasks using SAP, including receiving, stockroom management, material distribution, packing, and shipping.
2. Communicate with the supply chain organization to meet material requirements and support compliance with MMAS and AS9100 standards.
3. Perform financial analysis related to inventory to support business decisions.
4. Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to communicate material status, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvements.
5. Validate material receipt, prioritize work, and support issue resolution daily.
6. Ensure adherence to business policies and procedures to maintain compliance and preserve industry certifications.

R equired Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of equivalent experience in inventory management and/or production planning, or
2. Minimum 15 years of related experience with 5 years of warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment (in lieu of a degree).
3. Proficiency in SAP and planning systems.
4. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
6. Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments.

Pre ferred Qualifications

1. Experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment, preferably with electrical component manufacturing.
2. Background in military contracting or the defense industry is a plus.
3. Knowledge of MMAS, cycle counts, and financial inventory reporting.
4. Familiarity with manufacturing and warehousing practices for electronic components.
