Albany Med Health System is searching for a dedicated and dynamic board-certified Internal Medicine educator to join our ambulatory Internal Medicine academic practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a vital part of a collaborative team, seamlessly integrating patient care with medical education and scholarly pursuits.

• Practice in a community-based, hospital-affiliated setting alongside 9 faculty and 2 advanced practitioners who are deeply committed to serving patients in the greater Capital District of Albany, NY .
• Engage with medical students from years 1-4, as well as physician assistant and pharmacy students .
• Collaborate with the Alden March Bioethics Institute , known for its international focus on bioethics, working closely with clinician educators.
• Enjoy support from academic Hospitalist colleagues managing inpatient admissions, allowing you to focus on outpatient care.

What We're Looking For:

• A clinician-educator who is passionate about connecting patient care with education and scholarship.
• Experience in teaching primary care and evidence-based medicine at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
• A strong commitment to resident and student education , with responsibilities in continuity precepting and direct patient care.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $191,000-$259,000
• Faculty appointment and salary commensurate with training and experience.
