Job Description


Peregrine Team is hiring for Data Analysts to support a top hospital in Orange County, CA . This is a long-term contract to hire position with full benefits and competitive pay.

Join our growing HRIS team as a Data Analyst I, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing our compensation data systems. This position offers an excellent entry point into HR analytics and compensation management, with significant growth potential for the right candidate who demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Compensation: $32-42/hour

Job Duties

  • Position Code Management: Create and maintain unique position codes for all employee roles, ensuring accurate identification for compensation adjustments and incentive programs Data Entry & Maintenance: Perform detailed data entry tasks to support compensation structure changes, including creating new position codes when roles transition (e.g., full-time to part-time positions)
  • Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel functions to organize, analyze, and maintain large datasets related to employee positions and compensation structures
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HRIS compensation systems
  • Process Support: Assist with systematic data updates that enable targeted compensation adjustments while maintaining internal equity compliance
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all position code changes and data modifications


What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related analytical field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry tasks
  • Comfortable working independently on detailed, methodical tasks
  • Strong analytical mindset with appreciation for data-driven processes

Job Types: Contract to Hire

Salary: $32.00- $42.00 per hour

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with HRIS systems or HR data management
  • Understanding of compensation principles and structures
  • Experience with large dataset management.
