The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and referring quality applicants for various positions throughout the company and managing programs and initiatives that aim to attract, measure, and develop Troon's talent pool. The ideal candidate will have interpersonal communication skills and foster relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Job Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities
* Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, and referring quality applicants for various positions.
* Develop and maintain a qualified candidate pool for Troon facilities worldwide.
* Utilize sourcing and candidate methodologies, processes, and practices to facilitate outstanding client service.
* Accurately post and audit opportunity postings on various channels including Linkedin, UKG, Indeed, GCSAA, Turfnet, HCareers, and more.
* Manage background check processing.
* Work closely with hiring managers and Human Resource Business Partners to assess needs and establish a recruiting strategy.
* Generate and screen candidates, utilizing a wide and expanding variety of sourcing techniques.
* Organize and participate in recruitment events to foster external relationships and promote a strong employer brand.
* Present opportunities within the organization to schools and universities.
* Coordinate interviews and communications with candidates.
* Update and maintain the applicant tracking system.
* Compile various email campaigns, new position openings, and welcome emails.
* Monitor candidate experience including external emailing, informing on application status, and seamless processing.
* Participate in HR-related functions and special projects.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
* At least 1-3 year of related experience.
* SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
* Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred.
* Proven track record in developing internal and external partnerships.
* Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of the golf, hospitality, and retail industries is a plus.
