General Superintendent
***This role is located at various job sites throughout the Southeast and a limited number of jobsites in the Herndon, VA area.***

General Superintendent Key Responsibilities:
- Manager schedules for staff, job, equipment, and 90-day schedules
- Mike final decision on all hiring/terminations
- Review all phase plans and ensure the planning process is being followed
- Train, develop, and mentor Level 1-3 Superintendents
- Ensure Superintendents are planning work 3 weeks in advance, using unit rates and quant
- Review and submit equipment requisitions
- Review division contract administration operations; recognize needed contract changes
- Comprehensive knowledge of all safety and quality policies
- Experience managing and handling union trades and halls
- Complete understanding of the PLA (Project Labor Agreement) they would be working toward
- Experience managing and handling the customers' expectations
- Ability to articulately lead daily or weekly meetings with the customer, explaining our position, our schedule, and our needs
- Experience with effectively managing and handling our subcontractors, understanding that we are successful when our subcontractors are successful
- Requiring the subcontractor to perform to our standards of quality and safety, and keep them on track to full fill our needs
Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experiences as a heavy civil project superintendent or area superintendent
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must participate in pre-employment and random drug screening program.
