Job Title: Remote Intervention Specialist Ohio (K-12)
Location: Remote (Must be licensed in Ohio)
Job Type: Part-Time 1099 Contract
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Remote Intervention Specialist to provide virtual special education services to students in Ohio . The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license and have experience delivering instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual or school-based setting.
As a remote team member, you will deliver high-quality instructional services and collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure that students with IEPs receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Provide specially designed instruction to students with IEPs in a virtual environment.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with Ohio Department of Education guidelines and IDEA regulations.
Collaborate with school teams and parents/guardians to ensure appropriate supports and services are in place.
Conduct virtual assessments to inform educational planning and progress monitoring.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports, IEP updates, and service logs.
Attend and participate in virtual IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development sessions.
Utilize evidence-based strategies and digital tools to engage students and support learning goals.
Provide academic interventions, behavioral supports, and accommodations/modifications as needed.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (Required).
Minimum 1 year of experience working as an intervention specialist in a school-based or virtual setting (preferred).
Familiarity with virtual instruction platforms and special education compliance systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
