Job Purpose

As a Fuel Cell After-Sale Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Honda’s commitment to clean energy. Your expertise will ensure our advanced hydrogen fuel cell systems operate efficiently, enhancing customer satisfaction and minimizing downtime. You will collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, directly contributing to the success of Honda’s hydrogen technology and sustainable mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on fuel cell systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Act as the primary contact for customer technical assistance, providing timely updates and resolving issues.
• Manage warranty processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines and best practices.
• Conduct on-site inspections and maintenance of fuel cell systems.
• Provide training sessions for customers on fuel cell maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Minimum Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, an associate’s degree with significant industry experience may be considered.
• Minimum Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in after-sales support or maintenance of complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proven experience diagnosing and repairing power generation systems or fuel cells.
  • Familiarity with warranty claim validation and failure analysis.
  • Ability to work with high-pressure gases and high-voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols.

Workstyle

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift components weighing up to 50 lbs, perform manual dexterity tasks, and work in various environments.
• Travel: Frequent travel to customer sites, including potential emergency service visits.
• Overtime: Potential for mandatory overtime during high service demand periods.
