Base pay range $43.00/hr - $43.00/hr Position Recruitment Specialist at LanceSoft, Inc. — Semiconductor / VLSI / EDA / Embedded Pay rate $43/hr on W2 Key Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test singlemode and multimode fiber optic cables. Perform fiber splicing and connectorization. Conduct OTDR testing and troubleshooting. Manage and route fiber optic cables. Maintain and repair fiber optic networks. Document and report on fiber optic installations and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure project success. Install, terminate, and test copper cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a). Manage and route copper cables. Conduct copper cable certification testing using tools like Fluke testers. Troubleshoot and repair copper network issues. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred. Proven experience as a Fiber and Copper Technician or similar role. Proficiency with fiber optic and copper testing equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, and Fluke testers. Strong understanding of fiber optic and copper cable types, connectors, and splicing techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
