Job Description: Project Scientist or Geologist (2 job openings) We are seeking candidates with a B.S. degree in Geologist or Environmental Scientists, Master’s level is a plus, and extensive experience in comprehensive environmental site investigation and assessment, Phase I and Phase II ESA, UST closures and PBS facilities, drilling, probing and excavation oversight, and remediation systems design, installation, operations and maintenance. Candidates must be willing to work in NYC and New Jersey and have a reliable vehicle. The appropriate candidate should have extensive knowledge of federal, state and local regulations, have completed OSHA 40 hour Health & Safety training, 30 hr Construction Safety, as well as up to date 8 hour refreshers. Responsibilities include working directly with Project Managers for report writing and review, client relations, project estimation, and sub-contractor management and Field service management. Specific skills we are looking for include: Strong technical writing abilities Field experience in sampling of environmental media Excellent communications skills Microsoft Word & Excel proficiency Coreldraw or GIS, graphic program a plus Environmental Services offers an excellent benefits package and unlimited expansion for professional advancement for the right individuals.
