  Salary 

• Starting Salary $22 per hour
• Paid Training $22 per hour 
• Raises to $30 per hour
• Experienced driviing instructors start at $25 per hour
• Paid travel time between students
• Paid weekly
• Time and half for overtime when teaching over 8 hours a day or more than 40 hours per week

Benefits 

• One sick day earned per month (12 sick days per year) Unused sick days can be used as vacation days
• One vacation day earned per month (12 vacation days per year)
• Instructors birthday is a paid day off
• For a total of 25 total paid days off per year (equivalent to 5 work weeks)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Driving Instructor to join our team! As our Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for preparing students to take to the road safely, proper vehicle handling and maintenance, and all basic safety guidelines. You will also help students get comfortable behind the wheel and apply their knowledge in a practical way. The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching students, has extensive knowledge of driving safety and rules, and is gentle and patient. Don't worry. We train. Responsibilities 

• Lead a classroom of students learning driving safety
• Get behind the wheel with students and help them implement their knowledge in a safe and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with students and guardians, and provide additional recommendations on future driving practices

Qualifications

• Valid license and clean driving record required
• Previous experience as a driving instructor not required, we train
• Must be 21 and have a high school diploma or GED
• Gentleness, patience and you believe in your students 
• Applicant must be able to teach when teenagers are available:
  1. Holidays
  2. One weekend day per week
  3. After school
  4. Evenings
