El Toro Interactive is a digital marketing agency operating within a full-service eCommerce ecosystem, specializing in fashion and beauty. We aim to hire the best talent in the US, so physical location is not an issue. This is a remote position. The SEO Director will lead a team of 3+ members, guiding the agency's SEO service offerings, defining and managing team processes, and overseeing team P&L. The role also involves representing the SEO team during sales calls and making recommendations for new client engagements. The position reports to the Senior Director of El Toro Interactive. Requirements Act as the SEO expert for the agency. Stay updated on all SEO industry updates, trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into team processes and strategies. Create and manage the SEO team roadmap. Team Leadership Process documentation and training, including creating templates and managing deliverable processes with estimated hours. Ensure team training and execution capabilities. Onboard Jira and guide team adoption of new processes. Manage hour pacing for all clients and review team time tracking. Escalate team needs for success. Conduct regular 1x1s, team meetings, and training sessions. Communicate SEO updates during internal meetings. Own the team P&L. Sales Support Perform sales audits and presentations. Assist with project scoping.
