ABOUT THE ROLE \n
This position reports directly to the Area Leader. All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Primary responsibilities of this position are to become familiar with the layout of the plant and proficient in the use of equipment that will maintain the cleanliness of the plant grounds, assist in maintenance and delivery of materials. Maintenance of plant roads, sidewalks, rail tracks and switches, emptying of oil drums and operation of oil-water separator.
WHAT YOU'LL BE ACCOMPLISH \n
\n - Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.
\n - Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment
\n - Learning to operate several pieces of equipment including; cranes, dozers, loaders, skid loaders, forklifts, teleforker, and sweeper.
\n - Pick up and deliver oil drums within the plant.
\n - Maintains plant grounds through the use of sweepers and fast-vacs.
\n - Responsible for emptying oil drums and the operation of oil-water separator.
\n - Repairs, replaces, and cleans rail track and tie switches.
\n - Responsible for snow removal from sidewalks and salting of roads.
\n - Responsible for grounds/yard maintenance.
\n - Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR \n
Education: High School diploma/GED
\n
Required Training/Certifications: Valid Driver's License, Mobile Equipment Experience, NCCO Certification preferred
\n
Travel Requirements: <10%
Additional Requirements: \n
\n - Willingness to participate in the training program as outlined in the PST progression guidelines in order to become proficient in the use of plant equipment.
\n - Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
