Compensation Range: $45-$50/hr w2

Job Description:

Lead strategic sourcing and vendor management for support‐function categories (Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance, Communications, and labs), ensuring cost effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with organization's objectives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies and category plans for assigned functions
• Lead RFPs, vendor negotiations, and contract development (MSAs, SOWs, licensing terms)
• Collaborate with cross‐functional stakeholders (Legal, Cybersecurity, Data, Insurance, Internal Business Units) to evaluate vendor proposals and manage internal reviews
• Manage multiple concurrent sourcing and vendor onboarding projects, tracking milestones, risks, and deliverables
• Interpret contract terms and translate them for internal clients (license rights, entitlements, IP, use restrictions)
• Monitor and enforce procurement process compliance, reporting status and escalations as needed
• Maintain clear communication with internal and external parties to manage expectations and resolve issues

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology or related)

• 5–10 years of procurement/vendor management experience, including exposure to Marketing, HR, Legal, or Finance categories

• Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end RFPs and vendor negotiations

• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills (MSA, SOW, pricing models)

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast‐paced environment, with rigorous attention to detail

• Ability to synthesize spend and vendor data and derive sourcing recommendations

Nice-to-Haves:

• CPM or CPSM certification

• Experience with professional services, software / SaaS contracts, or contingent workforce sourcing

• Experience with Lab equipment, capital equipment, or technical services categories

• Experience challenging internal stakeholders on commercial terms (IP, entitlements, licensing)
