Were looking for someone with expert meat-cutting abilities, confidence with industrial butchering equipment, and a commitment to keeping tradition alive with our old school cutting techniques. A cut test will be scheduled for qualified candidates so bring your skills! What Youll Do Customer-Facing Duties: Create eye-catching displays of fresh cuts to tempt customers Weigh, label, and price meat accurately and efficiently Prepare specialty items tying roasts, trimming cuts, and customizing orders with precision and care Hands-On Butcher Duties: Receive, inspect, and handle deliveries to ensure the highest quality standards Use saws, knives, grinders, and other equipment to prepare cuts according to Uncle Gs standards Keep accurate records of inventory, budgets, and stock Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all regulations Perform additional tasks as needed to keep the department running smoothly What Were Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 7+ years of professional butchering experience, including bandsaw use, in a fast-paced environment Strong knowledge of traditional cutting methods and best practices Ability to work safely, efficiently, and with excellent attention to detail Comfortable communicating in English (speaking, reading, and writing) Perks & Benefits We value our team members!
