You will be preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy. You are passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences through good, quality food. With previous experience as a cook, you can manage multiple priorities and contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere. Responsibilities Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock Ensure food is stored at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature Prepping and cutting all steaks Cleaning chicken, pounding calami and chicken Portions food products according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty Qualifications Be 18 years of age Previous experience as a line cook preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to work standing for 8+ hours #J-18808-Ljbffr Pietro's
