Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. provides electrical and telecommunications contracting services to clients and communities across New England and in the Southeast. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a full-time Assistant Office Manager to support our team in the Holliston MA office.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing back up to the Office Manager, as needed
  • Managing all company travel in the most reliable and cost-effective manner
  • Coordinating events for office staff, such as luncheons and activities.
  • Assisting with arrangements for client and other company meetings
  • Monitoring all office equipment to ensure efficient functioning, including maintenance and replacement.
  • Assisting with vendor management and coordination for office equipment and office supplies.
  • Processing incoming and outing mail and FedEx
  • Assisting in setting up new employees and conducting orientations
  • Assisting with training, supporting, and covering other Administrative roles, as needed

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience with Office Administration
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, experience in Adobe or Bluebeam a plus
  • Ability to stay organized, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent follow-up skills and attention to deadlines
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus
