Job Summary The Assistant Account Manager will support the Senior Account Manager and Director in the execution of retail sales strategies, manage key account relationships, and ensure flawless execution of product launches, promotional activities, and merchandising initiatives. This role is responsible for operational support and cross-functional coordination to drive business objectives. Key Responsibilities Retail Strategy & Execution: Assist the Senior Account Manager & Director in developing and executing retail strategies that align with brand goals instore & online. Support the planning and implementation of promotional programs, product launches, and retail activations instore & online includes sku setup process. Manage the coordination of new product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Education, etc) to ensure timely execution and robust 360 plans. Partner with internal and external teams to ensure alignment on sales and promotional initiatives including sampling and points opportunities. Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, ensuring that account-specific needs are met across the business. Maintain accurate and up-to-date brand plans and communicate changes to necessary cross functional partners. Retail Partner Support Maintain day-to-day communication with key retail partners, supporting team in fostering strong relationships. Support the creation of retailer presentations and marketing materials. Work with retail partners to ensure proper execution of promotional calendars, merchandising strategies, and inventory management instore & online. Coordinate with retail teams on product visibility and digital strategy to optimize both in-store and online sales channels. Support P&L management by owning billing and invoicing processes. Own internal creative process including PDPs and other marketing materials. Track and evaluate retailer promotional activities, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement. Gather market data, competitor insights, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement to ensure that the brand remains competitive in the beauty marketplace. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in retail account management, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry. Experience working with Sephora preferred. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on collaboration. Experience in financial analysis, sales forecasting, and budget management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail analytics tools. The Details The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. The exact base pay is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan based on personal performance and company results.
