Description Of Job This position of Agent in Charge (Criminal Investigator V) is located in the Division of Racing, Lakewood Office and will also be required to work as needed at the Division's Arapahoe Park and off-track facility located at 26000 E. Quincy Ave, Aurora, CO, 80016. This position is primarily responsible for managing the development and execution of investigative activities, as well as overseeing enforcement systems to ensure they effectively meet the regulatory and enforcement objectives of the Division and the State. The role provides leadership and direction to a team of professional staff engaged in law enforcement, regulatory functions, and investigations. It is responsible for setting performance standards, establishing goals for both employees and program areas, and ensuring operational effectiveness. Additionally, this position plays a key role in developing staffing plans and operational procedures for the Enforcement and Investigations, Licensing, and Veterinary functions.
