Our client, a leader in sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking an Accounting Specialist I to join their team. As an Accounting Specialist I, you will be part of the finance department supporting daily financial activities. The ideal candidate will have a customer focus, be self-motivated, and possess an innovative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Specialist I

Location: Beaverton, OR

Pay Range:  Up To $36/hr

Shift:  Day Shift

What's the Job?

• Responsible for a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures.
• Perform daily financial activities of the plant.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities and reports.
• Enter daily production hours into the Payroll System, balance hours, and maintain accuracy.
• Assist in other accounting duties such as reconciling of bank accounts, balancing books, and processing payments.

What's Needed?

• Two to three years of accounting experience or equivalent related experience and/or training.
• Enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn.
• Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Open-mindedness and ability to adapt to change.
